Ok so I do some times have long lazy mornings. Sometimes I have to invent a super long lazy morning. I love a good relaxing bath. Some people are aware of the benefits of adding Epsom salts to bath water; but that’s just the beginning. Honestly, the list of things you can add to your bath is ridiculously long. One of the most over looked are flowers, herbs, and minerals.
The first time I ever healed anyone it
was a newborn with “colic.” I worked with the father and I could see this family falling
apart after several weeks of not sleeping and dealing with a constantly cry child. I had just learned about chamomile and lavender as calming herbs. I gave him a bag of both. The prescription? Make a strong tea and add a little to the babies bath. Worked like magic.
Ok , so true the experts say there are benefits to bathing at night. Including helping you sleep and produce more melatonin. But, there are entire cultural traditions revolving around baths including Korean, Russian, Finnish. We forget that the skin is highly absorbent.
